Pizza Dip

Have you ever been in a situation where you are going to a party, and need something to bring, but you have NO ideas? You don't want to make some huge, elaborate dessert or meal that will be hard for buffet-style eating, but you don't want to be the person who just went to the store and bought the first snack item they could find on the shelves.

Here is your solution: Pizza Dip
The dip is relatively quick and easy to make, and will be sure to please your friends! Plus it is delicious and you can't argue with that!

I probably would not have even made this dip if my sister hadn't asked for it. I had never even heard of pizza dip before! I was pleasantly surprised and the whole pan was gone by the end of the night, though I am still not sure what classifies this as "pizza" besides the pepperoni and cheese! Whatevs, it is still SUPER delicious served warm and with tortilla chips, so who really cares about the name?

This could be great for a potluck, party, game-night, or any other get-together/celebration!

Pizza Dip
Bake Time: 20-25mins

Ingredients:
8-9 ounces cream cheese, softened (the recipe calls for 8 ounces but I ended up needing a little bit more to cover the bottom of the pan)
1 cup pasta sauce
1/4 cup onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup pepperoni slices, diced
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Tortilla chips for dipping

Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9x13in pan.
2) Layer the ingredients in the prepared pan in the following order: Cream cheese, pasta sauce, onions & garlic, diced pepperoni, shredded cheese.
3) Bake the dip for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese looks bubbly. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
